Water park

Our first weekend at Osan our squadron held a Hail and Farewell at a waterpark. Caroline had a lot of fun!! (I apologize for the sideways video; I can't figure out how to turn it)

How to...

"How to entertain a one-year-old in an empty apartment"

Materials: laundry basket

We made it!

We finally made it to Incheon Airport, close to Seoul, where our sponsor met us and rode with us back on a bus to the base. We then went straight to our new apartment, ate a pizza and fell into bed (our awesome sponsors set it up with temporary furniture for us!). I was so tired I could barely walk. It took about a week to get used to the time change (14 hour difference than Texas, central time zone). I kept waking up at 3am starving!

Checking out the view from our 5th floor balcony

Fish face on the balcony!

Close up!

Unpacking is exhausting work!! Actually, going behind mommy and messing up everything she unpacks and sets up, is exhausting :)

Caroline travels to Korea

Many of you know that we recently moved to Osan Air Base, Korea. I took pictures of our 30 hour trip, and as I was uploading them I realized that most of them were of Caroline (I took a few of Sean too, and none of myself). That's pretty typical, life revolves around her! So here is Caroline traveling to Korea! Enjoy!

Waiting in the LAX airport. Since we traveled on July 4th, I put her in her red, white and blue! Caroline is chewing on a plastic knife from her lunch bag...whatever keeps her entertained!!

Watching a new DVD, which was a gift from Gigi!

On the plane...we had some rough moments

A map of our route. I tried not to watch this too often because it made the time move soooo slow!

This picture is really blurry because it was dark and I didn't want to use the flash and wake everyone up. You can see Sean sleeping with his hat on his face, and Caroline asleep cuddling up with her blanket. Finally!

Happy after a long nap!

Sonoma/Napa Valley

After graduation, Sean and I took a 6 day trip driving up the coast of California from Los Angeles to Napa Valley. We had so much fun!! But we missed Caroline a lot too :( We took tons of pictures, but here are just a few:

Santa Barbara; a super cute little town that kinda reminded me of the Greek Islands

A store front in Santa Barbara
At the Hearst Castle (I took so many pictures of this beautiful place, it was really hard to narrow it down. So I just chose some of the outdoor shots)
The gorgous outdoor pool. I think it was in some movie, but now I can't remember which one...
The view of the ocean from the pool was spectacular!
One of the buildings; it had the dining hall in it
On the beach outside the Hearst Castle
The drive up to Napa was amazing!!
A picnic before some wine tasting

Sean is quite the wine connoisseur!

On the Napa Valley wine train. It is a MUST-SEE if you go to Napa. Trust me on this!!

Our delicious lunch of wine, cheese and fruit. The presentation was impressive.

Watching the wine-countryside go by...

What a great trip!

Weapons school graduation

This past month has been CRAZY, so I am just now getting some pictures up!

Sean graduated from Weapons School on June 13th. The entire family (Sean's parents, my parents, Luke and Usha, and even Caroline) all came to Vegas to celebrate. We stayed at the Flamingo and had a really fun time!!! Here are just a few pictures from Patch Night and Graduation.
