Runnin' around

Many of Caroline's fans have requested a video of her walking and running around (ok really just one fan, her biggest fan, daddy :) So here it is!!

Caroline had a very dramatic Sunday! First she woke up with a 103 degree temperature. She was also pulling at here ears a little. Her temp wouldn't go down, even with Motrin, so we made the trip to the Urgent Care Clinic up the road. It was empty and we were seen immediately. Ear infection, surprisingly her first! Then to Walgreens for antibiotics and home. Much easier and quicker than I imagined. That was at 2:30 pm.

Right before bedtime, Caroline decided she wanted to get into my diaper bag, which was on top of a wrought iron bar stool. It fell over on top of her and hit her in the head. HUGE bump on her forehead. We weren't sure if she hit the back of her head on the tile or not. Right back to the Urgent Care Clinic at 7:30pm. The doctor did a double-take as we passed him in the hallway. The nurse said we were the first people to come back twice in the same day for two different reasons. Great, I'm glad we were the one's to set that record.

So, poor Caroline is super fussy today with an earache and probably a headache as well! This is the first time she has EVER been sick, other than a cold. It's exhausting!! I'm attaching a picture of her colorful forehead. The picture just doesn't do it justice though! It's pretty bad today but much better than it looked last night!!!

Homeless...

Ok, so Caroline and I are officially homeless! We've spent the last 2 weeks in South Carolina moving out of our house. It was a little stressful, lots of work and very sad to say goodbye to friends. But I know I will see them sometime in the future (remember that, Kim!!!).

So sorry it's been so long since my last post. We've literally been away from my parents' house (my temporary home) for over a month. In the last month I have spent the weekend at the cabin in Uvalde, visited Sean in Vegas for my b-day (without Caroline), spent some time in San Antonio, then 2 weeks in S.C. It's been a long month! But what a relief to have the house taken care of (we have renters) and our things on their way to Korea! There's no turning back now!!

I have some great videos and picture of Caroline that I will post soon (as soon as I track down my cord). She is doing great! We did have some drama that I will put in a separate post with a picture.
