Fetch!

My parents have an adorable dog named Bandit and he loves to play fetch. Caroline loves to watch him and lately my dad has been holding Caroline in his lap while they play. He even puts the ball in Caroline's hand and helps her throw it. We found out yesterday that she learned pretty quick, because she picked up the ball and threw it all on her own! I was able to catch it on video!

V-day package

Caroline and I were really missing Sean last week, so we made him a Valentine's care package. We took pictures of Caroline in her "Daddy's Sweetheart" shirt and a couple of her and I together. We put them in a little photo album with lots of other pictures so he can look at them often. We also made some heart shaped cookies. He loved the package and I hope he knows how much we love and miss him!
Caroline spent Valentine's day with lots of family members (we celebrated Uncle Patrick's b-day that evening) and had a blast! Caroline received lots of valentines at home and in the mail! She is VERY popular :)

Daddy's Sweetheart

Posing for the picture

It was difficult to get a good picture together; she kept pointing at the man across the street mowing his lawn!!

Taste test

I may need another taste, just to be sure :)

Our cookies are finished and off to Las Vegas!

11 months old

Oh, how 11 months have flown by!! Caroline is now in that in-between stage of a baby and a toddler. She is pulling up and standing on everything, cruising between the furniture and even bravely standing on her own. She has not taken any steps yet, but I know it’s any day now. She has such a fun personality and is always laughing at something. Her giggle is the sweetest noise I have ever heard! She is also a little stubborn, and keeps trying to get into the fireplace even after I tell her no and re-direct her to her toys. Apparently, it reminds my parents of me at that age. She is also VERY active and crawls laps around the house. The house is not completely child proof, so I’m always right behind her making sure she doesn’t get into trouble (or the fireplace again!). I am having so much fun staying at home with her, but at 7:00pm (bedtime) we are both exhausted!

Here’s my little monkey…

I forgot to mention how she loves to roll over and crawl away as fast as she can when I'm changing her diaper or clothes. She l0oks back at me and giggles. So cute! That's what the last picture is all about :)
