Newest trick

Recently, Caroline discovered that she can roll over. This has made for some VERY interesting nights because she rolls over, then gets very frustrated. We were getting up 5 or more times a night to flip her back over!! We finally taught her to sleep on her stomach (we had no choice!!) so she would fall back asleep on her own. It worked, thank goodness!! This parenting thing is not easy!!! Don't they come with a manual or something!!!

Naked Baby!!!

Caroline is sooo active right now!! She loves to roll over and won't even let me change her diaper. She recently rolled over when I was trying to change her clothes and diaper, and looked so cute! I just had to take a picture of her adorable bum!!

Great-grandparents

We also visited my Papa and Grandma. Caroline is their first great-grandchild and they were thrilled to meet her!!

Trip to Texas

Caroline and I made the BIG trip to Texas to visit family and friends. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and hanging out with Papa and Mimi!!

Busha and Caroline meet for the first time! Busha is Polish for Grandmother. This is Busha's 4th great-grandchild, but recently a 5th was born!!

Uncle Patrick

Caroline was able to finally meet here Uncle Patrick! He was excited to meet and hold her, until she left a big surprise in her diaper! He couldn't give her back fast enough!! And he wants to be a doctor??!!

Caroline and I visited my grandparents' country house in Brenham, TX. It has been in the Baranowski family since the late 1800s and is a very special place.

Fun in the sun

Caroline turned 3 months today!! To celebrate we went to the Fort Jackson water park in Columbia with some friends. It was Caroline's first time in the pool!! Her bathing suit is still a little big (thanks Mimi!!) and she didn't really like the temperature of the water, but it was still a fun day!!!

Grandmas

Unfortunately, I had to go back to work to help finish off the school year (just 2 weeks!). I was so lucky to have my mother and mother-in-law come take care of Caroline. They each took a week and spent some quality grandma time with her. It was so hard to leave everyday, but I knew she was in great hands. A huge THANK YOU to Mimi Painter and Gigi Penrod.

Caroline Update

Caroline is growing so fast!!! She is almost 3 months old and has many new tricks! She is smiling, giggling, playing by kicking her legs and waving her arms around, she is facinated with her hands, and she can hold her head up and roll over from stomach to back! We have her 3 month appointment in 2 weeks, so I'm not sure how much she ways. But she is starting to wear 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. Here are some recent pictures...

Totally entertained by the flashing star above her. It is motion detected and I SWEAR she knows that when she kicks it sets it off!! She's OBVIOUSLY a genius ;)

Welcome Baby Connor

On May 24th Carrie and Ryan Wick welcomed Connor into the world! Even though Caroline is slightly older than Connor, we've always said that they will get married one day! Here are pictures from their first meeting!! Connor is less than 1 week old!!
