Family pictures

When Caroline was a little over a week old, we took our first family pictures. Here are a few.

1 week old

Mary Poppins

One night Mary Poppins was on TV, so I turned it on for Caroline since it was one of my favorite movies when I was little. She loved it!!

8 weeks old

On May 8th Caroline turned 8 weeks old!! I can't believe how fast time flys! She is no longer my little newborn :( But it is exciting to see how much she is growing and developing. She is now smiling, playing and watching me all the time.

After waking up we played on the activity mat for awhile. She loves to kick and wave her arms around.

Then we napped, playing wears her out!

Then we spent some time in the swing. She now looks up at herself in the mirror and watches the birds and leaves spin around

She has dimples!! I don't know where she got them from (neither Sean nor I have them) but this picture proves it!! She has one on both cheeks!!

Caroline is becoming very animated! She is always making a different face that makes me laugh! Here are a few!

You are my sunshine

When I was a baby my dad sang the song "You are my sunshine" to me. I now sing that song to Caroline and it really calms her down. I found this wall decor on the internet and thought it was very appropriate for Caroline's nursery. It reminds me every day of that special song that has been passed down.

Welcome Home Daddy!

Sean recently left for 3 weeks to Las Vegas (what a hard life!!). Caroline and I missed him so much and send pictures and videos every day! When he returned we met him at the airport to welcome him home.
