The first bath!

A couple days after we arrived home from the hospital, we decided to give Caroline her first bath. We learned that she definitely does not like to be undressed. Here are some pictures of that adventure! As you can see, she is not pleased with us!

On March 13th, 5 days after my due date, my doctor decided to induce labor. At 5am (we arrived at 4:30!) the nurses started the Pitocin. At 4:46 pm, after pushing for over an hour, Caroline was born! Here are some pictures of Caroline just minutes after her birth.

The Nursery!

Now that Caroline has made her appearance (and her name is no longer a secret!), here are some pictures of her nursery. A lot of time and love went into this special room. The bedding was made by Gigi Penrod. I spent time sewing curtains, painting letters, and picking out the perfect accessories for her room. It was so much fun!!

In the hospital the morning I was induced. I was 40 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Last belly picture!!

Still pregnant...

Well, March 8th has come and gone, and Baby Penrod has not made her appearance yet. The nursery is ready, our bags are packed, and now we wait! I visit the Dr. again on Tues. then if needed, I will be induced on Thurs. The Dr. thinks I will go into labor on my own before then (I hope!). Thanks to everyone who has called, e-mail, or text messaged to check on me! I've never been so popular before!!!

Hopefully we will have news soon! Keep checking back!

P.S. We recently purchased a new camera and have taken more recent pictures. The camera is Sean's thing, I have NO idea how to use it! As soon as he downloads the pictures I will post some. Then you can REALLY see how big my belly is!!
