In July of 2005 we visited Greece with six of our friends. We first flew to Athens and spent the night. We visited the Acropolis, shopped in the Plaka district and toured some museums. Then we took a ferry to Syros where we met up with our skipper Nikos, his girlfriend Nyla and the sailboat the "Arianna". The next morning we sailed to Paros. We spend 3 nights in Paros and visited Anti-Paros and Santorini (too far for the sailboat, so we took a ferry). Then we sailed to Naxos where we spent 2 nights. On each island we rented mopeds, drove around the island, sunbathed on sandy white beachs and snorkeled. We also ate some amazing food like zatziki and greek salad.
Then we sailed back to Syros, said goodbye to Nikos and the Arianna, and went back to Athens to tour around for 2 more days. It was literally the trip of a lifetime.
